ggafs.org · the ledger beside the garden

The corporate home of a children's ministry.

godsgreenacres.com is where the books, the soil, and the hospital tray tables live. This site is where we keep the gifts, the filings, and the promises — in the same voice, with the lights on.

Vegetable rows at golden hour, a garden bench, picture books, and jars of canned tomatoes.
Weatherford, Texas. The farm is the classroom. The sanctuary is a meadow and a bench.

Donor receipts. IRS Form 990 when we have one. Board and policies. The unglamorous work of being a 501(c)(3) without pretending we already are.

Read the legal name

A child's mind is like a jell-o fruit salad. The whole idea is to get the good stuff in before the jell-o sets.

That line has been carried for about thirty years. It is the reason the books exist, the lessons exist, and the farm name exists.

Pending 501(c)(3). The EIN is posted. We will never invent a filing or a deductibility claim. When the determination letter is in our hands, it will be posted here — next to every Form 990 the law asks us to show.

Six ways we serve

Full stories on the public site →
  1. 01

    Children's books

    Pattern Seekers

The Pattern Seekers series gently teaches children to notice the patterns in God's creation and follow the true light that leads them home.

  2. 02

    For parents

    Garden and science notes

A simple hands-on program that teaches children about God through nature. Using gardening and science, we show kids that God is the One who makes things grow.

  3. 03

    Hospital ministry

    Books for the hospital

A picture book on a bedside table is a small thing. It is also a light. If you give a book, it goes to a child. Not to a warehouse of good intentions.

  4. 04

    Local support

    A/V help for local ministries

Providing technical assistance and better A/V equipment so neighboring ministries can reach more souls with God's Word.

  5. 05

    Kitchen and canning

    Homesteading for kids

Kitchen basics and canning techniques that have been lost over time — practical skills that build confidence and self-reliance.

  6. 06

    Plant, tend, harvest

    Gardening for kids

How to plant, grow, nurture and harvest fruits and vegetables from the garden. Hands-on skills that connect God's creation to the food on the table.

Made to be given

A book is a light that fits on a tray table.

When you give one, we print or purchase a copy and place it with a child — often in a hospital, sometimes in a home that asked. You will know where it is going. This page is a promise, not a checkout.
